2012 – ‘It Was Real… and It Was Fantastic’ [Series]

This series was constructed between 2010 and 2012, in Glasgow, Scotland.  Five images from the series were selected for inclusion at the 2012 GSA Master of Fine Arts Degree Show at the Glue Factory.  An original lithograph of the work, I Hope It Never Stops (2011) is now in the Glasgow School of Art‘s permanent collection.

After illustrating the images, Blake printed each in an edition of 15 on natural, archival paper.  Within the editions, numbers 10-15 were given unique characteristics (additional flocking, ink, drawing, etc)

Set of five giclée prints from the larger series, as installed at the Glue Factory, Glasgow, May 2012.
