Blake Peterson (b. Youngstown, OH, 1983) is an interdisciplinary artist with a printmaking focus.
Blake’s body of work includes illustration, print media, and installation. Blake obtained an MFA from Glasgow School of Art in June 2012. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. His work is included in several private collections, including the Glasgow School of Art’s permanent collection.
In 2005, Blake earned his BA in Psychology from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He later acquired a postgraduate certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Iowa. While living in Iowa, Blake began extensive study into printmaking. This exploration into print media led to the formation of the arts-based business, the Grocery.
Much of Blake’s work is collaborative. He regularly works with fellow artist, Zoe Phillips (MFA Printmaking, San Francisco Art Institute 2012). She also was an influential co-creator for the Grocery. Blake and Zoe are also working on a new project, Tusch and Snuggle producing prints, books, and functional artwork.
